Tim discovered his love for beer culture whilst working in pubs and bars during his time at university.¶After graduating in 2012, Tim interned at Longdog brewery. A year later he started working for Mad Squirrel brewery, where he worked for seven years in a variety of roles. In 2015, he qualified as a Beer Sommelier. In 2020 Tim left Mad Squirrel, to join Wells & Co (previously Charles Wells) to work at Brewpoint, their new brewery, based in Bedford. He continues to work at Brewpoint today as part of the sales, brand & marketing team. ¶In his career Tim has worked in a variety of roles, from on & off trade management, sales, marketing, e-commerce, training & communications. He has lead in excess of 1000 brewery tours, talks and beer tastings in the last decade. He has appeared on radio and television to talk about beer. In 2025 Tim was accepted as a full member of the British Guild of Beer Writers. ¶
