Drinks Consultant Specialising in Beer. With over 18 years of experience in the beer industry, my journey began at the iconic White Horse on Parson’s Green in 2003. This renowned venue sparked my passion for beer and hospitality, where I started as a cellar man under the guidance of the esteemed landlord Mark Dorber. Even in those early days, I was captivated by beer's sociability, diversity, and accessibility.¶Over the next 11 years, I honed my operational, training and marketing skills in hospitality management, taking on specialist roles such as Cellar Manager. A pivotal moment in my career was joining Sambrook’s Brewery in Battersea as a Senior Sales Executive, later moving to Regional Sales Manager at Siren Craft Brew. During my 5+ years in brewery sales, I delivered hundreds of events, tours, and training sessions and earned my qualification as a Beer Sommelier from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. ¶Today, I operate as a freelance Drinks Consultant, offering expertise in education, marketing, operations, procurement and assessment to the drinks and hospitality industries. My clients include respected organizations such as the Carlsberg Group, BarFly Drinks Strategy Consultants, Cask Marque, Beer & Cider Academy, Craft Masters, and Yellow Panda Pub Co.
