Jonny is a Beer educator, events host and hospitality trainer that covers beer, wine, cheese and all aspects of service and food pairing.

He is an Advanced Cicerone as well as a GBS Beer Sommelier and has experience in corporate communications, writing, presenting and events hosting.

Jonny is a WSET Beer, Wine and Spirits Educator and has worked in everything from pubs, craft beer bars and fine dining in London and Vancouver.

He teaches WSET Beer, Wine and Spirits, Wine Scholar Guild Courses, BPET beer courses and Academy of Cheese courses and is also a certified (wine) sommelier (CMS).

His previous roles include co-owning and running the South London Wine School putting on many events and courses covering all beverages, Training and Education manager (Europe) for AB-Inbev, manager of a craft beer restaurant and consulted on Cicerone syllabus for the UK and WSET Beer course development.

Jonny was nominated for Imbibe Educator of the Year in 2018 and regularly judges beer and wine competitions, and co-developed training programmes for cicerone students.

He founded the original incarnation of the Guild of Beer Sommeliers and now sits on the advisory board of the GBS.
